Parent Connections

Are you a parent who is in search of a group of others who can actually empathize with you or at the very least not judge you? We are in the process of forming parents groups consisting of moms only, dads only and mom/dads together to discuss parenting issues in general. All you need to be is a parent to join. We welcome parents who have children with special needs. We are attempting to form an inclusive parent group to discuss issues and topics of interest for allparents. Having a special needs child can be one of those topics and you are welcome to and are free to discuss such triumphs and challenges. Lets all begin to try and understand our differences while we realize how similar we all are. After all we're all parents, right? 

Therapist Connections

Are you a behavioral, speech, occupational or physical therapist looking for families to work with? If so contact us with your service area and availability and we may be able to pair you up with a family in need of your services. 

Are you also looking to join a multidisciplinary group of professionals for quarterly meetings at local coffee houses to discuss issues related to the field of special education and network? We would love to hear from you as we are currently working on setting this up.

Lets get together to chat, collaborate and learn from each other. ALL therapeutic disciplines, teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, etc. are welcome! 

Volunteer Connections

Are you a high school or college student who is undecided? Why not spend some time volunteering and gain valuable insight into the field of special education. No strings attached...just come and check it out. You won't know if it's for you until you try. Looks great on college admissions applications as well. Contact us for volunteer opportunities. If you need to complete an internship as part of your college degree this could possibly count. Always check with your advisor first to make sure. We look forward to hearing from you to discuss your career goals and interests. School guidance counselors please also feel free to contact us for information if you have any students who would like to test the waters before making their collegiate decisions.

Sibling Connections

Are you a sibling of someone with a disability that needs a place to share your thoughts and feelings about it with people who have and are going through it? We'd love to hear from you.

Kid Connections

Are you a parent or teacher who has a child/student who would like to serve as a peer buddy to a classmate or child in your community? We'd love to hear from you. Let us help you make that connection that could transpire into a friendship of a lifetime.

Play date Connections

Are you having trouble finding suitable play dates for your child? Let us know. We can help you pair up with other families for play dates based on your child's needs and preferences. We can even help organize the group and find a location. It doesn't have to be at your home. There are plenty of locations in the area that we have connections with. Let us take care of the planning for you. All you do is show up and have fun. Children receiving therapeutic services are encouraged to participate either with their parents, caregivers and/or therapists. No one is turned away, just come and play!
